Services: Services will be held on Friday, Dec. 6th at 10:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home with a Mass of Christian burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

POLAND-Mary L. Markovich, 88, passed away on Tuesday morning with her family by her side. Mary was born on August 5, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Rose Pupic Tusin and lived in the area her whole life and was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish, was a member of a garden club with her friends for many years, and she enjoyed making crafts. Mary married Stephen J. Markovich on Sept. 5,1944 and he passed away on August 7, 2012. She leaves one son, Stephen J.,Jr. (Marcia) Markovich of Struthers; one daughter, Patricia J. Dempsey of Poland; three sisters, Helen McVicker of Mineral Ridge, OH, Caroline Palmer of Austintown, OH and Rosemarie Gonda of Boardman, OH, along with eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Richard, William, Matthew and Walter Tusin and one sister Virginia Markovich.
