John Hatala, Jr. Obituary
Struthers – Private services were held at Clemente Funeral Home for John J. Hatala, Jr., who died Sunday morning, February 18, at Maplecrest Nursing Home in Struthers.
John was born December 13, 1943, in Youngstown a son of John J. and Mary Holecko Hatala, Sr.
He lived in the area his entire life and graduated from Ursuline High School. He was retired from Republic Rubber.
John leaves his sister Mary “Mitzi” Quattro of Struthers, nieces and nephews Joyce (Bob) Czopur, Joseph Balogh, Jan, Bob and Glenn Shingledecker and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Tony Quattro.
The family would like to thank the staff of Sanctuary Hospice, including Roseann, Carol and Mike, and the staff of Maplecrest, including Brittany, for all of the kind and compassionate care that they provided to John and his family.
