New Middletown – William A. "Bill" Blower, 77, of New Middletown, OH, passed into eternity on July 4, 2015.
He was born on April 2, 1938 in East Palestine, OH, a son of Mr. William A. Blower, Jr., and Pauline (Frederick) Blower.
Bill grew up in East Palestine and attended the school there. After high school he served in the U. S. Army as a proud member of the 82nd Air Bourne, stationed at Fort Bragg and in Germany. After his service, he returned to East Palestine. He met Phyllis I. (Myers) Blower in the summer of 1960 and they were married October 26, 1960 and he was a
devoted husband for the last 54 years.
Mr. Blower is survived by his wife Phyllis Blower; son Tod (Karen) Blower; daughters, Victoria (Ronald) Buchecker, Audrey (Glenn) Walters; his 10 grandchildren, Rebecca and Jacob Buchecker, Zach (Brittney) Blower, Jeremiah (Ila) Blower, Rachel Blower, Katie Walters, Emily and Elyse Schmitt; six great-grandchildren, Dylan and Jace Conway, Everett and Beverly Blower, Bree and Lexi Blower; a sister Beverly (Willard) Leake; brothers, Richard (Tina) Blower, and Charles (Cindy) Blower.
Mr. Blower was a retired steel worker and had worked of late, as a driver for Auto Dealers, taking cars to the auctions. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going out
to eat with his wife, fishing with his grandkids and taking them to the Rogers Open Flea Market. He was an avid NASCAR fan and NHRA fan, enjoyed old western movies and loved his family unconditionally.
Private graveside memorial services were held.
