The Lord saw that Aunt Viola was tired and took her home on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
She would have been 94 in October of this year.
Aunt Viola was born October 16, 1922 in Campbell, Ohio.
As a child she moved back to Romanian with her parents where she
lived until her 20's. She moved back to Ohio where she met her beloved husband Michael and they were married for 62 years. She was an excellent cook and homemaker.
"We will always remember her Christmas Eve dinners as the family gathered and enjoyed being together." She would get together with her Romanian friends at different events and sing Romanian songs. She had a wonderful voice. Aunt Viola was a very kind and caring person, and will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael; her parents Mary and John Flasher; brother John; sisters, Helen and Mary; and her nephew Chauncey.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her niece, Valerie (Paul) Popa Noble, who was her caregiver for many years, Diana Flasher (Nejat), Lydia Flasher (Dawson); great nephews, George (Yvonne) Popa, John (Lynn-Marie) Popa; several other nieces and nephews; also Rosie and John, her very good neighbors for 55 years; Leetha Gibson, her good friend; and her sister-in-law, Ann Marie Yaniglos.
"We would like to thank Grace Hospice for their excellent care and support."
