Vincent E.
Demarco
September 21, 1954 – April 25, 2025
Medina – With heavy hearts, we announce that Vincent E. DeMarco, 70, passed away peacefully at home on April 25, 2025 while surrounded by loved ones.
A prayer service will be held on Monday May 5, 2025, at 12:45pm at Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers, OH, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Friends and family may call at the funeral home prior to the service from 11:00am to 12:45pm.
Vincent was born on September 21, 1954, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Joseph Sr. and Mary Ann DeMarco (Visingardi).
Throughout his life, Vincent carried a deep appreciation for the world's natural beauty. His eyes would light up when he spoke of trees, birds, and the white sandy beaches he explored with his beloved wife, Theresa M. DeMarco (née Bobak, formerly Shondrick), whom he married on August 31, 2006. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home in Medina, Ohio.
Vincent worked for many years as a machinist at the Chrysler stamping plant in Twinsburg and was a proud member of the UAW Local #122. He also found great joy in music, spending countless hours behind his drum kit as an avid drummer.
Vincent's love for animals was evident in the tender care he gave to the many cats he welcomed into his life. He will be remembered for his caring spirit, passion for nature, and the joy he brought to those around him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three stepchildren: Jeremy T. Shondrick (Kathrine Shepherd) of Portland, OR; Andrew R. Shondrick (Marikka Shondrick) of Lakewood, OH; and Sara J. Shondrick (Samuel Gray) of Philadelphia, PA. He also leaves behind a brother, Joseph DeMarco of Lowellville, OH; a sister, Mary (LeRoy) Blinsky of Poland, OH; and four cherished grandchildren: Jay, Simone, Annika, and Sebastian.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Annette Hart.
Vincent's family wishes to express their gratitude for the love and support extended by friends and relatives during this time of loss.
