Struthers – Vernon T. Scott, III, 57, passed away on Sunday evening January 20, 2019.

He was born on November 4, 1961 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Vernon Thomas and Carol Prontka Scott, Jr.

He served in the U.S. Navy as a Corpsman.

Vernon married the former Margaret Atkins on August 18, 1999.

He leaves behind his wife; one son Ethan Scott and one daughter Nicole Scott both of Struthers; three brothers Dwayne Scott of Sarasota, FL., Shawn and Jason Scott both of Struthers; one sister Elissa Scott (Robert Greenaway) of Struthers; two grandchildren Dakota Scott and Shane Ratcliff; one granddaughter on the way and numerous nieces and nephews.

Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Christopher Scott and a sister Vanessa Scott.

Material tributes in Vernon's name can be made to the family to help with expenses.
