STRUTHERS-Funeral services will be on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Clemente Funeral Home, with a mass of Christian burial to be held at 11:30 A.M. at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers, for Tony A. Micco, 83, who passed away on Saturday evening.
Tony was born on May 13, 1930 in Hillsville, PA, a son of James and Jennie Grani Micco. He lived in the area his whole life and worked at the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company, which wa then LTV, for 29 years. He also worked as a foreman for the Struthers Street Dept. for seven years. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church and helped with the church festival and was a member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society. He loved sports and spending time with his grandchildren.
Tony married the former Geraldine P. John on June 3, 1951 and she passed away on January 6, 2013. He leaves behind three sons, Anthony Micco of Youngstown, OH, William (Rhonda) Micco of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Keith (Renee) Micco of Boardman, OH; three daughters, Loretta (George) Dinda of Boardman, OH, Diana (Charles) Petro of Newark, OH and Patty (Louis) Paradiso of Mentor, OH; three sisters, Gloria Masone, Rose (James) Musolino and Vincie Sasiadel, all of New Castle, PA; ten grandchildren, Kimberly and Joseph Petro, Kayla, Nicholas, Joseph, Dominique, William, Anthony, Alex and Gianna Micco.
Tony was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one brother Richard Micco.
