STRUTHERS – Services will be on Monday, January 5, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Thomas P. "Willie" Williamson, Jr., 65 who passed away on Wednesday.
Thomas was born on May 31, 1949 in Youngstown, a son of Thomas P. Sr. and Anna Ruth Weimer Williamson. He lived in the area his whole life and served in the Army in Germany during the Vietnam War.
Thomas first worked in the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Company as a laborer, then worked for 29 years as a security guard at L.T.V. Steel Co. He retired from the Vienna Air Base maintenance dept. and as a security guard in 2011. Thomas was also a reserve policeman in the Struthers Police Department. He also enjoyed to tinker and work in his garage on his motorcycles and cars and was currently in the process of building a T-bucket.
He leaves two daughters Jessica A. (Gary) Bender of Royal Palm Beach, FL and Jamie L. Williamson of Vienna, OH; three sisters, Diane (Larry) Kish of Columbus, OH, Maureen (Bill) Michaels of Altamonte Springs, FL, Ruth Ann (Carl) Miller of Lordstown, OH; one grandchild Kasey and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his former wife Suzanne.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Barbara Tkach.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
