New Middletown - Stephen J. “Steve” Balluck passed away at his home unexpectedly on Saturday, September 26 , 2026.

Steve was born March 28, 1959 in Youngstown, Ohio to William and Doris Jean “Lowry” Balluck. He grew up in Struthers and was a 1977 graduate of Struthers High School. He worked most of his life at City Printing in Youngstown and retired in 2024.

Steve is survived by his wife Kay “Cyrus” Balluck who he married October 11, 1986. He leaves behind two sons, both of New Middletown, Stephen (Jaclyn) Balluck and Craig Balluck. Along with two grandsons Klayton and Knox Balluck, whom he absolutely adored, also a grand dog Keeley, who he spent his retired afternoons with.

He leaves one brother Michael (Michele) Balluck of Irvine, California, one niece of New Middletown, Barbie Dull, also, his mother-in-law of New Middletown Martha Cyrus, and a brother and sister-in-law Rich and Kristy Cyrus and their family.

Steve was a member of Springdale Camp and the Mahoning Sportsman’s Club. He always enjoyed building a fire and having a cold beer with friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister Ann Dull and one brother William H. Balluck, also his father-in-law Joel Cyrus.

Calling hours will be held at Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown from 4-6 pm on Thursday , October 1st with a brief service to follow at 6:00 PM.
