NEW SPRINGFIELD-Shirley V. Brothers,79,passed away at the Vibra Hospital early Wednesday morning. Shirley was born on Feb. 1, 1934 in Struthers, a daughter of Charles R. and Pearl Rorbaugh Morjock. She lived in the area her whole life and worked at J.C. Penney's, Brentwood Originals, Eastern Discount and Ferguson's Market, both in Columbiana. She was a member of the Old Springfield United Church of Christ and enjoyed being a homemaker. Shirley leaves her husband, Jack R. Brothers, whom she married on Sept. 22, 1951; three sons, Daniel L.(Debra) Brothers of New Middletown, Jack R.Jr.(Betty)Brothers of Salem and Jeffrey(Kim)Brothers of New Springfield; one sister, Helen Chamberlain of Boardman; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Arthur Morjock; one half brother, Charles Smith; and one sister, Vera Hamilton Arrangements are being handled by Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown.
