Visitation: Friends may call on Thursday at the church, one hour before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
STRUTHERS - Shirley J. Barber, 78, passed away on Sunday evening at the Cleveland Clinic. Shirley was born on January 1, 1933 in Youngstown, a daughter of Clyde and Frances Biehl Housteau. She was a life long area resident and homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church and the church's Infant Jesus of Praque, Holy Rosary Society and helped with making piroghy. Shirley married Lawrence Barber on April 18, 1953 and he passed away on March 18, 1994. She leaves two daughters, Karen (Gary Sr.) Baker and Kathy (Hank Sr.) Franceschelli, both of Struthers, two sisters, Joann (John) Hollis of Canoga Park, Calif. and Carol Donnadio of Niles; four grandchildren, Hank Franceschelli Jr., Gary (Katie) Baker Jr., Holly (Rick) Gozur and Michelle Baker. Shirley leaves four great-grandchildren, Josh, Rachel, Ava and Ricky. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Larry, Ray, Jack and Charles Housteau and three sisters, Betty Ford, Marlene Skibbe and infant Margie Housteau.
