Struthers - Santino Sam Centofanti, 80, passed away at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown, on Tuesday morning, April 7, 2009. Santino was born on November 1, 1928 in Sulmona Valley, Italy, a son of Ralph and Maddalena Centofanti Centofanti. He came to the United States in 1946 and worked in the Youngstown Sheet & Tube Comkpany for over 40 years. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Church in Struthers. He also enjoyed working in his tomato garden. Santino married the former Matilda F. Martinelli on August 6, 1955. Besides his wife he leaves one son Ralph S. Centofanti of Struthers, OH., one daughter Nancy A. (Bryan) McGinnis of New Wilmington, PA., one sister Antoinette DiRusso of Lowellville, OH. and two grandchildren Natalie and Daniel McGinnis. He was preceded in death by his parents.
