YOUNGSTOWN - Sandra L. Parise, 53, passed away Tuesday at her residence. Sandra was born on March 2, 1956 in Youngstown, a daughter of Patsy F. and Donna Gray Ciccotelli. She lived in the area her whole life. Sandra was of the Catholic faith and was an avid reader and wrote poetry and novels. She enjoyed collecting antiques and traveling. Sandra worked for Clemente-McKay Ambulance as a paramedic, and a decade after she left that job, she saved a doctor's life when she climbed through his shattered windshield and administered CPR until a life flight helicopter landed on the interstate. Sandra was a beautiful women with a big personality and a great sense of humor and a beautiful soul. She lived her life always putting others first and never asking anything in return. Sandra leaves behind her father, Patsy Ciccotelli of Youngstown; a companion, Sandy MacDonald of Youngstown; two sons, Patsy J. Parise of Provincetown, Mass and Jospeh M. Parise of Eagan, Minn; one brother, Daniel (Betty) P. Ciccotelli of Youngstown; two sisters, Patricia E. (Nick) DePinto of Poland and Virginia A. (Bob) Curtis of Campbell; also several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Donna.
