East Palestine – Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Old Springfield United Church of Christ in Petersburg, Ohio, for Ruth (Agee) Welther, 76, of East Palestine who passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday morning. Ruth was born April 13, 1938 in Struthers, Ohio, a daughter of Arthur and Mary M. Scahill Agee. She lived in the area most of her life. She was a homemaker, enjoyed playing cards and loved picnics with her family. Ruth married Glenn A. Welther on August 18, 1962. Besides her husband Glenn, she leaves her children, Michael A. Welther of East Palestine, Ruth Kathy Welther of East Palestine, Brian E. Welther of New Springfield and Ronald S. Welther of East Palestine; one sister Barbara (William) Patterson of Lowellville, OH; four grandchildren, Ron, Brianna, Chelsea and Ethan and three great grandchildren, Hayden, Bentley and Jacob. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William and Thomas Agee and two sisters, Betty Baker and Jani Phillips. Friends may call on Saturday in church, one hour before the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 A. M.
