Boardman – Services will be on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Rusile "Rusty" LaRosa, 55, of Boardman, who passed away on Sunday morning at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus, after a long battle with breast cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Rusile was born July 27, 1958 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Charles and Ethel Patterson Mashakus. She lived in the area most of her life and was a manager at Dick's Sporting Goods in the apparel department for 18 years, where she was the problem solver for everyone at work. She was also the caregiver to everyone she knew, especially her family. Rusile also enjoyed bowling. Rusile married Robert A. LaRosa on September 20, 1980. Besides her husband of Boardman, she leaves two sons; Anthony M. (Angela) LaRosa of Hilliard, OH and Shawn W. LaRosa of Boardman; one sister, Arlene Bozetski of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; one grandchild, Lillian,  and her cousin James (Cathy) Patterson of Struthers. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.
