Services: Services will be held Thursday at 9:30 am at Clemente Funeral Home and 10:00 am at St. Nicholas Catholic Church both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Struthers - Rose Pagano, 94, formerly of Edison Street in Struthers passed away Sunday at Shepherd of the Valley in Boardman. She was born February 15, 1914 in Hibbing, Minnesota, a daughter of Anthony and Grace Labate Mortaro. During WWII she worked at US Steel in McDonald as a crane operator. She married Santo Pagano on October 19, 1946, was a member of St. Nicholas Church and its Senior Citizen's Group. She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, baking bread and pizza and doing crossword puzzles in ink. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rose leaves her son Alfred (Sharon) Pagano of Poland, her daughter Mary Grace (Patrick)Briceland of Boardman, a sister Connie Yakimoff of Youngstown, five grandchildren and their spouses Lee & Nicki Pagano, Debbie Pagano, Lori & Bob Dutton, Christina Briceland, David & Angela Briceland and three great grandchildren Carmen and Dominic Pagano and Ava Briceland. Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Santo, who died in 1962, three brothers Anthony, Peter and Samuel Mortaro and five sisters Grace Zoccali, Angeline Paolone, Bernice Rosace, Carmel Mortaro and Josephine Nemergut. A special thanks from the family is extended to the staff of Shepherd of the Valley on West Boulevard in the South and West Wings and to Hospice of the Valley for their care and compassion.
