Struthers – A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, April 11, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers for Rose Marie Janesh, 82, of Struthers, who passed away Thursday morning at University Hospital Case Medical in Cleveland.
Rose was born February 10, 1934 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Vincenzo and Anna Vitullo Frazzini.
She lived in the area her whole life, graduated from East High School in 1952, and was a homemaker. She drove a school bus for many years in the Struthers and Poland School Districts. Rose was instrumental in forming the first softball league in Struthers for girls and served as a coach. She also was an assistant coach for the Struthers High School Girl's Softball team. She was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church, was secretary of the Holiday Bowl Homemakers League, and secretary of the Rolling Hills Golf League, where she had an "Ace" at hole number 7.
Rose married Robert E. Janesh on June 2, 1956.
Besides her husband, she leaves three children, David E. (Jacqueline) Janesh of Jessup MD, Diane M. (Jeff) Shriver of Earlysville, VA, and Cheryl A. Janesh of Girard; seven grandchildren, Robert A. (Dena) Janesh, Jennifer M. (Andrew Siegele) Janesh, Michael V. Janesh, Aaron Rei-White, Brianna Rei-White, Jacquelyn Kenreich, Carl Kenreich, along with two great grandchildren, Marley Gioia Siegele, and Xavier Joseph Siegele.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents and a son Joseph S. Janesh and a sister Theresa Mandoline.
Friends may call on Monday at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church prior to the mass from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
