Ronald E. Knight, Jr

Killeen, TX – Ronald E. Knight, Jr passed away on February 9, 2026 from injuries sustained in a house fire.

RJ was born on April 19, 1991 to Ronald E. Knight, Sr and Lorrie (Beight) Knight Dial in Poland Ohio. He attended Poland Local Schools and completed his schooling at David Anderson Junior/Senior High School in Lisbon, Ohio graduating with the Class of 2010.

RJ was a US Army Veteran having served 8 years between South Carolina, Georgia, Korea and lastly Texas where he made his home.

After his first tour of duty, he worked as a delivery driver for FedEx while living in Ohio, then after his second tour of duty with the Army, he worked as a Tower Climber as ESA Engineering and was currently employed by Walmart.

What he enjoyed the most was being a father to three beautiful children - sons Aiden Luke, Jaxon Reed, and his daughter Emmalyn Joy who reside with their mother Melissa in Killeen, TX.

In addition to his Parents and children, he is survived by his grandparents Bill and Arlene Knight of Poland, Ohio and Jerry Beight of Poland, Ohio along with several Aunts, Uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Jackie Beight and his brother Cody.

There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time.  A celebration of life may be held at a later date.
