Poland - Robert T. DelSignore, 60, of Poland, passed away Monday, April 27, 2009 at his home. Robert was born on May 3, 1948 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Joseph and Lottie R. Ostrowski DelSignore. Robert lived in the area his whole life and retired from GM Lordstown after 32 years of service in the Material Department. Robert was of the Catholic faith and also served in the Army in the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War where he earned a Purple Heart. Robert married the former Carol A. Kuzila on February 11, 1976. Besides his wife and mother, Lottie R. Creque of Poland, he leaves two sons Robert J. (Tracy) DelSignore of Poland, OH and Andrew R. (Cynthia) DelSignore of Streetsborro, OH, one daughter Kellie (Scott) Arthur of McDonald, OH and one brother Joseph (Tracey) DelSignore of Hubbard, OH; two sisters Shirley Smith of Youngstown and Beverly (Pete) Vargo of Florida. He also leaves the loves of his life, his three grandchildren who knew him as Papa, Jesse, Vincent and Lauren and was awaiting the birth of a fourth grandchild. Robert also leaves a half-brother Brian (Karen) DelSignore, and two step brothers John and David Creque, two step sisters Cynthia (Jim) Miketa and Cheri Creque. Robert was preceded in death by his father Joseph DelSignore and step father Donald Creque and a brother Ronald DelSignore.
