Youngstown – Services will be held at noon on Monday Dec. 12, 2016, at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Robert R. "Bert" Neider, Sr. 70, who passed away on Dec. 8, 2016 at his residence. Bert was born May 30, 1946 in Youngstown, a son of June Neider. He was a graduate of Struthers High School. He worked as a steelworker beginning with the Sheet and Tube Company in 1964 and then Vallourec Steel Company, retiring in 2012. Bert was a member of Evangel Baptist Church in Youngstown. He liked to work on cars, fish, golf and oil painting. He was a member of Struthers Athletics and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Bert leaves his mother June of Boardman; four sons, Bobby R. (Carla) Neider, Jr. of Austintown, Billy (Amber) Neider of Struthers, Matty (Annissa) Neider of Austintown and Jonny (Fiancee Amanda Davis) Neider of Struthers; one daughter Heather (Ed) Hall of Fallston, MD and six grandchildren, Ean Elliott, Quinn Hall, Chloe Neider, Ty Hall, Mya Neider and Micah Neider. He also leaves his ex-wife Shirley Ann Neider. He was preceded in death by his brother Butch Neider. Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers, two hours before the service.
