Services: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New Middletown.

Visitation: Friends may call Friday at Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown from 5 to 8:00 p.m. and at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 at St. Paul the Apostle Church.

New Middletown - Richard J. (Rich) Okular died Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Richard was born on January 14, 1958 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Ted and Betty Adams Okular. He married Bonnie Zelina on August 1, 1987. He was a computer programmer and a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church. Richard leaves his wife Bonnie, his two sons Cory R. and Kyle R. Okular and a daughter Kara E. Okular, all of New Middletown, his mother, Betty of Coitsville, two brothers, Ted (Debbie) Okular and John Okular, both of Coitsville and one sister, Jackie (Vince/Snag) Stanko of Campbell, nieces and nephews Christopher (Jackie), Colbie, and Natalie Okular and Gabe Stanko and one great nephew Dylan Okular. Richard spent his life helping others and continues to do so by donating to Life Bank upon his death. He was a devoted husband, father and son.
