Services: Services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Struthers - Richard R. Dick Ragan, Sr., 72, passed away Tuesday evening at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Richard was born July 24, 1936 in Youngstown, a son of Andrew and Catherine Brincho Ragan. He graduated from Chaney High School in 1955 and attended Youngstown State University. He married Donna E. Timarko on November 16, 1957 and was married for 51 years. Richard was a supervisor at Superior Industries and then at Easco Aluminum retiring in 1991 after 34 years of service. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church. Richard loved traveling and enjoyed his family immensely. He was an avid fan of Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling and going to the YMCA. Richard will be sadly missed by his wife Donna, his son Rick R. (Monica) Ragan, Jr. of Lowellville, his granddaughter and pride and joy, Dana Dawn Ragan, his sister-in-law Bernice (Jerry) DiMarzio and two nephews Bobby and Danny Winkle. Richard was preceded in death by his two sons David G. and Thomas W. Ragan, his grandson Joseph P. Healey and sister Margaret Winkle.
