New Middletown - Richard L. Bensky, 68, of New Middletown passed away Wednesday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center in Youngstown. Mr. Bensky was born on June 16, 1941 in Dora, PA, a son of George and Helen Hinderliter Bensky,and lived in the area his whole life. He worked as an operating engineer with Local #66, retiring in 2000. Richard served in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam War; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on old cars. He leaves behind his wife, Marlene Felix Bensky, whom he married in 1961; three daughters, Terri (Marty) Bartell of New Lenox, IL, Sherri (Dana) Byers of North Lima, OH, Tammi Sawyer of Mogadore, OH; one brother, Alan Bensky of Warren, OH; one sister, Ilene Felger of Poland, OH and three grandchildren, Kevin, Jenna and Grant.
