Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call from noon to 1:00 p.m., one hour prior to Mass at the church.

STRUTHERS-Raymond P. Danko, 86, passed away on Monday morning at the Greenbriar Nursing Home. Raymond was born April 10, 1926 in Struthers, a son of John and Julia Dugas Danko. He worked for the United Engineering for 28 years, the Struthers A&P and the U.S. Post Office. Ray was in the U.S. Air Force, serving during World War II. He was a member of Christ Our Savior Parish/St. Nicholas Church and the Lowellville Rod and Gun Club. He leaves behind his nephew Buzzy (Helen) Papalia of Tampa, Fla., his niece, Candy (Edward,Jr.)DeBartolo of Tampa; along with four great-nieces and 1 great-nephew. Ray was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John and Leo Danko; and one sister, Catherine Papalia. The family wishes to thank the Staff of Greenbriar Nursing Home.
