LISBON-Ralph E. (Bucky) Malone, 82, passed away Sunday at Allay Senior Care in Lisbon, Oh. Ralph was born on September 19, 1930, in Finleyville, PA, a son of James and Thelma Booth Malone. He served in the U.S. Army and married Carolyn McManus on September 22, 1949. He worked at Republic Steel and retired after over 30 years of service. He was a former member of the Springfield Volunteer Fire Department. Ralph leaves his son, James Thomas (Phyllis) Malone of New Springfield; a daughter, Ruth (John) Miller of New Middletown; a mother-in-law, Kathryn McManus of Lancaster, PA; a brother, Thomas(Dee)Malone of Savannah, GA; four grandchildren, Todd (Melinda) Miller of Poland, Sarah Miller and her fiancee, Dan Spencer of New Middletown, Thomas and Michael Malone, both of Boardman; three great-grandchildren, Jayda, Todd and Jaymz; and a sister-in-law and many brothers-in-law, with whom he was close. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn, who died on Nov. 11, 2011; a son, Ralph E. Malone, Jr.; two brothers, James and Jacky; and two sisters, Annabelle Kittrel and Suzie Wolfe.
