Services: Services will be held Thursday at 9:30 am at the Clemente Funeral Home and 10:00 am at St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

STRUTHERS - Phyllis M. Gibson, 71, of Struthers passed away on Saturday at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center in Youngstown. Phyllis was born September 18, 1938, in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Anthony and Dorothy Marshall Cavucci. She married John O. Gibson on February 16, 1957. She worked as a cook at the Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic in Youngstown. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church and the Wednesday Night Ladies Trio and Sunday Night Bowling Leagues both at Westside Lanes. She enjoyed playing cards and belonged to two clubs. She loved to cook especially for her family and friends. Phyllis lived life to the fullest, was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by family and friends. Phyllis leaves her sons, John O. (Kathleen) Gibson of Virginia Beach, VA, and Anthony (Heidi) Gibson of Willoughby; three daughters, Catherine (David) Zemkosky of New Middletown, Phyllis Gibson of Struthers and Michelle (William) Simcox of Struthers; one brother, Kenneth Cavucci of Florida; and a sister, Catherine Hamrock of Austintown; 10 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband, John, who died Dec. 24, 2007; her brother, Mark (Sonny) Cavucci.
