YOUNGSTOWN - Pat Gray of Youngstown,OH passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 62. Pat was born on Dec 1,1950 in Youngstown,OH, a son of James W. and Virginia E. Abblett Gray. He was a life long area resident and started working at Lake Park Cemetery in 1976 and then took over the position of superintendent in 1988. Mr.Gray was an active member of the Ohio Association of Cemeteries, where he served on the Board of Directors for six years, becoming president of the State Association in 2010. He was also president of the Uptown Kiwanis Club and a member of the Cremation Association of North America. One of his favorite things he enjoyed was driving his 1963 Ford Fairlane, which was known as the Red Rocket. Pat leaves his wife of 37 years, the former Gladys DeGenaro, whom he married on January 31,1976; his mother-in-law, Gladys DeGenaro; sister-in-laws,Judy DeGenaro,Janet DeGenaro and Lucille Gray; a brother, Bob Gray and brother-in-law, Pat Ciccotelli. In addition, Mr.Gray had a close relationship with many nieces and nephews, especially, Patti DePinto and Jenna Curtis. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers,James and Nick Gray; two sisters,Donna Ciccotelli and Mary Lou Amey and his father-in-law, John DeGenaro. The family would like to thank MVI Hospice and his special care giver Jade.
