Poland – Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 12:00 noon at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown with Pastor Justin Ross and Pastor Hal Haire officiating for Nellie M. Ewing, 83, who passed away on Sunday morning at Park Center Nursing Home in Boardman. Nellie was born on March 22, 1932 in New Castle, PA, a daughter of Russell and Jessie Foreman Duncan. Nellie married Harold Ewing on September 29, 1961. She was retired from doing secretarial work and was an active member of the Free Methodist Church in New Middletown. Besides her husband Harold of Poland, she leaves behind two sons, Dave Ewing of Boardman and Bill Ewing of Boardman; a sister Edna Shelenberger of Florida and two grandchildren, Juleah and Josiah Ewing. Nellie was preceded in death by her brother, William Duncan, and sisters, Irene Mason, Virginia Hall, Doris Llewellyn and Hazel Eckhart. Friends may call on Saturday at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown from 10:00 am until 12 noon. Material contributions can be made in Nellie's name to the family to help to defray the costs of the funeral.
