Services: Services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Western Reserve United Methodist Church.

Visitation: Friends may call on Wednesday at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service.

Youngstown - Mitchell A. Hanley, 21,of Youngstown passed away late Saturday evening May 8, 2010 at Hospice House in Poland. Mitchell was born on May 20, 1988 in Youngstown, the son of Mark Hanley and Mary Ellen Smith. He will always be remembered and loved by his friends and family. Mitchell was a 2006 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and the Mahoning County Career and Technical Center, where he earned the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy certificatiion. During high school he worked as a cook for Vic & Syl's and after graduation had worked for Reliant Energy in the coal handling department; the job which he enjoyed most. Mitchell cherished his friendships and enjoyed spending time with them at Fellows Riverside Garden and Mill Creek Park. He enjoyed nature photography, coin and card collecting and loved all animals. He had played soccer, baseball and football during his school years. Besides his parents, Mitchell is survived by a sister, Mallory Hanley of Youngstown; two younger brothers, Stevie Helvak of Youngstown and Zach Hanley of Hubbard; step-mother Holly Burnett-Hanley of Youngstown, Aunt Barbara Smith of Struthers; Uncle Tom (Melissa) Smith of Columbus; Uncle Bob (Pat) Hanley of Girard; cousins Erin (Greg) Meyer of Michigan and Adam (Stephanie) Hanley of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Dorothy Hanley and Charles and Cynthis Smith.
