NEW MIDDLETOWN-Mignon Beight Taylor, 88, of New Middletown passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2013. Mignon was born on February 11, 1925, in New Middletown, OH, a daughter of Merlin and Hettie Schiller Beight. She graduated from Mount Union College with a degree in music. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in New Middletown. Her passions were piano and singing. She enjoyed poetry, Science and working with the handicapped and disabled. Mignon married Robert H. Taylor on August 16, 1945 and he pased away on June 3, 2006. She leaves three sons, Atty. Douglas B. (Kathy) Taylor, with whom she made her home, Scott Taylor of New Carlisle, OH and Robert Taylor of Huber Heights, OH; one daughter, Sondra Taylor of Wichita, Kansas; one foster daughter, Ann Schiller-Cook of Fairborn, OH and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mignon was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
