Services: A mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New Middletown with Rev. Stephen Popovich officiating.

Visitation: A private viewing will be held prior to the service.

NEW MIDDLETOWN - Michael G. Evan,80,affectionately known as (Hollywood), passed away Monday evening at Masternick Memorial Health Care Center in New Middletown. Michael was born January 3, 1931 in Newton Falls, a son of John and Anna Mihal Evan. He lived in Campbell and moved to New Middletown in 1957. He married Elanor F. Bogan on October 4, 1957. Michael worked and retired from Youngstown Sheet & Tube as a lathe operator and union representative. He attended St. Paul the Apostle Church and enjoyed his grandkids, gardening, fishing, hunting, dancing and roller skating. Michael leaves his wife Elanor, a son Dr. Michael (Linda) Evan of New Middletown; a daughter Pamela (Duane) SHover of Louisville, KY; a brother, John (Joann) Evan of Poland; a sister Anne (John) Thomas of Campbell; six grandchildren, Elisabeth, Rebecca, Catherine and Jessica Evan and Danielle and Tori Shover. The family wishes to extend their appreciation for the deep friendship shown to Michael from Al Glass and the love and support of our Windsor House family and friends.
