Struthers - Dr. Michael Frank DeMarco, DPM of Poplarville, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Michael was born and raised in Struthers, Ohio, where he graduated from Struthers High School. He continued his education at Youngstown State University and earned his Doctor of Podiatrist Medicine degree specializing in podiatrist medicine and surgery. Following medical school, he completed his residency at the VA Hospital in Seattle,Washington.

He continued his medical career with the New Orleans VA Hospital before eventually working in Biloxi, Mississippi. Throughout his professional life, Michael was dedicated to caring for his patients and serving others through his work in medicine.

He will be remembered not only for his professional dedication but also as a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Through his work, family, and enduring relationships, he touched many lives.

He is survived by his beloved mother, Santina DeMarco, his sister, Rosa Maria Richley and her husband, Gregg; his brother, Frank DeMarco; his beloved niece and nephews and his great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Phil "Felice" DeMarco; his brother, Phil DeMarco Jr.; his sister-in-law, Nilla DeMarco, his niece Ally {Alexandra} Richley.

Michael's family will forever treasure the years they shared with him, the many lives he enriched, and the enduring memories he leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on October 6, 2026, from 9:00 to 10:30

am at Clemente Funeral home in Struthers followed by a prayer service at 10:30 am. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St Nicholas Church 764 5th St in Struthers, Ohio, followed by burial at Lake Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Michael's honor to the American Cancer Society at 10501 Euclid Ave. in Cleveland, OH, 44106 or Angels for Animals at 4750 W. South Range Rd. in Canfield, OH, 44406.
