Services: A mass of Christian Burial will be held at Christ Our Savior Parish (St. Nicholas Church), Struthers, Ohio at 11:00 a.m. October 3, 2011 with Fr. Bob Bonnot officiating.

Visitation: Visitation will be at Clemente Funeral Home 700 Fifth Street Street Struthers, Ohio from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. one hour prior to the mass.

Mary S. Skocic of Augusta, Georgia passed away September 28, 2011 in Augusta, Gorgia. She was born August 13, 1920 in Canton, Ohio the daughter of the late Alex and Josephine Prisuda Matyevich. Mary moved to Struthers, Ohio as a child and was a long time resident until 2001. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family, her Faith and her Croatian heritage. She was a 1938 graduate of Struthers High School and a member of St. Nicholas church. She was also a member of St. George Lodge #66 in Youngstown, Ohio Mary and Thomas Skocic were married October 18, 1941. Thomas died on November 24, 1995. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Kocinski, Katherine Delanar, Alice Korpi and her brother Alex Matavich. Left to love and cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary Ellen Smith (Patrick) of August, GA and Sally Branson of Knoxville, TN; grandson Robert Thomas Dula; great-granddaughter Kaylon Nevaeh Dula and great-grandson Thomas Shane Dula all of Cartersville, GA A host of nieces and nephews also survive her.
