Boardman – Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers, for Mary L. McCarthy, 41, of Boardman, who passed away on Sunday evening. Mary was born on August 24, 1973 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of James W. and Ann Mary Carney Murphy. She lived in the area her whole life. and was a  1991 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, and worked at Best Buy. She was of the Catholic faith, a fan of Notre Dame, an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. Mary married John T. McCarthy on May 15, 2003. She leaves her parents of Youngstown, and her husband John of Boardman; one daughter, Carney M. McCarthy of Boardman; three brothers, Shawn Michael (Shannon) Murphy of Austintown, OH, James William (Kerra) Murphy, Jr. of Boardman, Charles Joseph Murphy of Poland; two sisters, Cecelia Marie (Matthew) Richard of Woodstock, GA, Margaret Mary (William) Hittie of Columbus, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests material contributions be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
