Services: Services will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers and at 10:00 a.m. a mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church in Boardman.

Visitation: Friends and family may visit Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

YOUNGSTOWN - Mary C. Murar, 85 passed away Wednesday evening. Mary was born November 20, 1925, a daughter of Peter and Mary Kacvinsky Harvischak and was a 1944 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Immediately after graduation Mary worked at GE Lamp Plant until she began a family. Later in life she worked at Woolworths, K-Mart and Revco Drug. Mary married Elmer Murar on November 16, 1946 and he passed away on September 2, 1993. She leaves two daughters, Nancy Murar and Cathy Jupp both of Youngstown; two grandchildren, William (Melissa) Jupp of Boardman, Vicki (Michael) Glenn of Butler, PA; two great grandchildren Elizabeth Jupp and Alexis Glenn. Besides her family and friends, Mary enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. She was a member of the Martha Lupse Card Club. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers, William and Robert Harvischak.
