Services: Services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Clemente Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

AUSTINTOWN - Mary T. Mooney, 94, of Clare Bridge Cottage, formerly of Brownlee Woods, passed away on Wednesday eveing at Assumption Village. Mary was born on December 28, 1915 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of Peter and Concetta Zappi Marchetti. She lived in the area her whole life. She worked at Strouss Shoe department for 25 years and was a sales clerk at various other jobs. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers and the church's Altar and Rosary Society and card club and senior group. She was a member of the AARP Senior Groups in Struthers and Poland, and was also active in the Steelworkers Union #1331. Mary married Emery B. Mooney on November 9, 1935 and he passed away December 11, 1988. She leaves one, son Emery R. (Elizabeth) Mooney of Struthers; one daughter, Carol J. (George) Svetlak of Youngstown; two sisters, Phyllis Filipcic of Monongahela, PA; Helen (Bernie) Fischione of Moon Township, Pa; six grandchildren, Bob Mooney, Debbie McBride, Patty Mooney, Rick Svetlak, Marilyn Kilbreath and George Svetlak, II and ten great grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband; four brothers, Mike, Ray, Joe and Lou Marchetti. The family would like to thank the staff of Assumption Nursing Home, in the special unit section, for the they took of Mary.
