NEW MIDDLETOWN - Mary Blanche Moats, 94, of New Middletown passed away Wednesday evening at Hospice House in Poland. Mary was born in Tennessee on February 14, 1917, a daughter of Carl and Tennie Shoemaker Baker. She worked at the American Uniform Company in Cleveland, Tennessee for five years. She married William J. Moats on December 11, 1934 and she attended Bethel Friends Church in Poland. Mary leaves her two sons, Neil (Barbara) Moats of Tampa, FL, Dale (Sandy) Moats of West Melbourne, FL; one daughter, Joyce Kissinger of New Middletown; nine grandchildren, Robert Moats, Sheri Walsh, Troy Bryant, Christine Bryant, Atty. William (Angelica) Kissinger, Michelle Kissinger, Christopher Moats, Bethany (Kurt) Kulig and Scott Moats; eight great grandchildren, Landon Campbell, Brianna Walsh, Jared Senvisky, Ashley Senvisky, Aliana Kissinger, Jayda Kulig, William Kissinger III, and Brayden Kulig. Mary was preceded in death by her husband William, who died August 19, 1982, two brothers, James and Charles Baker; four sisters, Anna Belle Daugherty, Wilma Brown, Edith Phillips and Marie Brunet. Arrangements were handled locally by Clemente Funeral Home. Services handled in Benton, Tennessee by the Higgins Funeral Home.
