Martha J. Stevens, 72, of New Middletown, formerly of Massillon, Ohio passed away Tuesday morning at Hospice House.

Martha was born October 20, 1941, in Massillon, a daughter of David and Mildred Unklesbay.  She grew up in Massillon and then lived several years in Cleveland, then came to New Middletown in 2007.

She married Ronnie M. Stevens July 19, 1961 and he passed away on May 31, 2007.

Martha leaves two sons Tim A. (Gerry) Stevens of Poland and Ronald L. Stevens of Massillon; three brothers Archie (Debbie) Unklesbay of Canton, Terry Unklesbay of Stow, Ronnie (Linda) Unklesbay of Massillon; one sister Sue LaPorte of Massillon, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Freda Anne Unklesbay,  and her beloved dog "Pip".

Martha was preceded in death by her husband,  her parents, one son Daniel L. Stevens, one brother Donald Unklesbay, Jr., and two grandchildren Brian and Nicolas Stevens.
