Niles – Marilyn Diamond, 77, of Niles, passed away Monday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center in Youngstown.
Marilyn was born on April 28, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of Edward B. and Mary E. Bowen Bromeier.
She lived in Cleveland, Ohio, Obetz, Ohio before moving to Niles.
She was director of Child Care Centers and worked as a nanny, and was very involved with children. Marilyn was a member of St. Raphael's Church in Bay Village, Ohio and she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Marilyn married Daniel M. Diamond on June 17, 1959 and he passed away on October 20, 1997.
She leaves three daughters, Debbie M. Diamond and Diane L. Diamond, both of Columbus, OH, Marilyn E. (Mark) Lashley of Niles, Ohio; two brothers, Edward C. (Millie) Bromeier of Boone, North Carolina, Henry Bromeier of Cleveland; one sister MaryAnn (Richard) Kolofer of North Olmsted, Ohio; also 12 grandchildren and 18 grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, Daniel Diamond and one sister, Sister Barbara Bromeier, H.M.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the
Holy Cross Cemetery 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, Ohio 44142
