Services: Services will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call two hours before the service at the Clemente Funeral Home from 12:00-2:00 p.m.on Tuesday.

POLAND - Marie K. Leonard of Poland passed away on Thursday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Youngstown. Marie was born on May 13, 1921 in Campbell, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph and Sue Yope Burgmyer. She moved to East Palestine, Ohio in 1941 and then to Wampum, PA and then to Struthers. She was a director of Medical Photography at the Youngstown Hospital Association for 28 years. She was a WACS during World War II and truly loved photography and taking pictures of family and animals. Family was her driving force and her first love and she enjoyed spending time with them and her animals. Marie was of the Catholic Faith. Marie married Walter J. Leonard in 1941 and he passed away in 1953. She leaves two sisters, Florence Aylor of Columbus,OH and Jean(Stanley)Cooksey of Struthers; two nephews, Ray Landry,Jr. and Joe Burgmyer,Jr.; two nieces, Joanne Burgmyer and Karen Cooksey and several great-nephews and great-nieces. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers, Joseph Burgmyer, Nicholas Nikoloff and George Nikoloff.
