Lucy Medved Yurich , 92, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, November 21. Lucy was born October 3, 1923, in Greensburg, PA, a daughter of the late George and Barbara (Cindrich) Medved.  She was a long time employee of ServOmation Corporation Vending Services from which she retired.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Yurich, Sr. whom she married November 24, 1942. Lucy will be missed by her two surviving sons Thomas Yurich of New Philadelphia OH, Joseph (Darlene) Yurich, Jr. of New Middletown, and her daughter Jane (Andrew) Lindsey of Austintown, three sisters Helen Rose, Joan (Leo) Letterine and Dorothy Capasso, all of Pennsylvania, seven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren and another on the way., and many nieces and nephews. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joseph, who died October 9, 2009, seven sisters Clara Lesick, Mary Topoli, Eva Buettner, Ann Kireta, Katherine Kalata, Agnes Silic, and Margaret Lucas, two brothers Andrew and Steven Medved, and daughter-in-law Cheryl Yurich. Friends may call from 4:00 to 5:00 pm Monday evening at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown, followed by a service at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
