COLUMBIANA - Lucille A. Logston, 82, of St. Mary's Alzheimers Center, formerly of New Springfield, passed away at the home on Tuesday morning. Lucille was born on December 10, 1927 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of Frank and Mary Dubiel Magmore. She moved to New Springfield as a young lady and worked at General Electric as a coil inspector for many years before retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown and it's Altar & Rosary Society, a lector and choir member and helped with the making of piroghy's. Lucille married Gerald R. Logston on June 29, 1957 and he passed away on December 1, 2005. She leaves behind one step-daughter, Nila J. (Raymond) Benci of Streetsboro, OH; two brothers, John Magmore of Ohio and Ernest Magmore of Texas; one sister, Dorothy Magmore of California; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one step-son Jerry Logston, Jr. and two sisters, Theresa Checkel and Genevieve Lorado.
