Santa Fe, N.M. – A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in New Middletown for Lori Molnar Tamburro, formerly of New Springfield, who passed away in Santa Fe on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015, surrounded by her loving family.
Lori was born July 9, 1970, in Youngstown, daughter of Frank and Ann (Hvizdos) Molnar, and loved every minute of her 45 year-old life.
She was the wife of Sam Tamburro, with whom she enjoyed 21 years of marriage. They were married Nov. 19, 1994.
She was a 1988 graduate of Springfield Local High School, where she was the class salutatorian and went on to graduate from Youngstown State University in 1992. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Professional Writing and Editing, with minors in Biology and Psychology. She worked the last 16 years for MRI Software Incorporated, Cleveland, working remotely as a technical writer and editor. Prior to that, she was with Arcom Incorporated in Mentor for over six years.
Lori and Sam enjoyed living in northeast Ohio, Greeencastle, Pa., and Santa Fe. In these various locations, she was involved in her community including the First Friday Committee and Newcomers group in Greencastle and garden group and in the library as a volunteer in Santa Fe. She will be remembered for her sun-shiny disposition, infectious, beautiful smile and making friends wherever she went.
She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her family, husband Sam Tamburro of Santa Fe; parents Frank and Ann (Hvizdos) Molnar of New Middletown; sister Lynn (Raymond) Seymour; nephews Russell, Maxwell and Mitchell of New Springfield; mother-in-law and father-in-law Antoinette and Leonard Tamburro of Youngstown; siser-in-law Lenore (Frank) LaRubbio and nephews Frank and Vincent of Poland; brother-in-law Leonard of Crete, Ill.; many aunts, uncles and cousins who will cherish her memory; and their beloved cat, Tito.
Lori was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Frank and Ann (Sopko) Molnar Sr.; and her maternal grandparents Michael and Josephine (Heldt) Hvizdos.
Friends may call in church on Saturday two hours before the service from 9:00 A.M. to
11:00 A.M.
Local arrangements are handled by the Clemente Funeral Home, New Middletown, Ohio.
