Boardman – Loretta J. Mackey, 82, of Boardman died peacefully at the Hospice House surrounded by her family Thursday, July 17, 2025.

Loretta was born January 24, 1943, in Youngstown, a daughter of Harry and Loretta Balsinger. She married Robert W. Mackey on February 18, 1994.  Loretta owned and operated her own florist shop, Bittersweet Florist, for many years.  She then worked as a floral designer and Michael's for thirteen years and was awarded top designer while working there.

Loretta leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Robert, a daughter April Brown of McDonald, five grandchildren Cody Stacy, Chase Stacy, Cierra Rasile, Ashley Brown and Carmen  Burke  and one great grand daughter.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents, two sons Christy and Colin Brown and two brothers Harry and David Balsinger.

Per Loretta's wishes there will be no services.
