YOUNGSTOWN- Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers for Lorene J. Lewis, 85, who passed away on Saturday afternoon at the Hospice House with her family by her side.
Lorene was born on April 3, 1930 in Youngstown, OH a daughter of Howard H. and Lucille Lamb Sprinkle.
She lived in the area her whole life and was a graduate of South High School in 1948. She attended the Youngstown College Business School in 1948-1949. She worked at the Pennsylvania Freight Office, the Briar Cold Drawn Mill Office and retired from JC Penny after working many years. She was a former member of the Central Christian Church in Youngstown, where she taught Sunday school. Lorene enjoyed sports, crafts, gardening, roller skating, bowling, traveling and was a Campfire leader.
Lorene married Ralph H. Lewis on June 14,1952 and he passed away on June 21,2014.
She leaves two daughters, Beverly J. Lewis of Boardman, and Dawna L. (Doug Gue) Lewis of Poland; two grandchildren Katie M. Gue and Tracy (Logan) Reinard and several nieces and nephews.
Lorene was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother Robert E. Sprinkle
