YOUNGSTOWN - Kenneth J. Gergel, 69, passed passed away January 23, 2014 at his residence.

Kenneth was born March 19, 1944, in Youngstown, to the late Edmund Gergel and Mildred Rauzan.

A graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School, Kenneth attended Youngstown College and served one tour of duty in Vietnam with the U.S. Army as a helicopter mechanic/door gunner. After being honorable discharged from the Army, Kenneth  worked as a sales consultant for the Youngstown Sheet and Tube Company at their Boardman, Ohio regional office until retiring in the early 1980's, due to a Vietnam Conflict related disability.

Besides his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by a brother, Paul M. Rauzan,III.

Kenneth leaves two brothers, Edmund (Leslie) Gergel of Pacheco, CA; Allen Rauzan of Poland; two nieces, Tracy Worthington of Prescott City, Arizona and Katherine Gergel of Pacheco.
