Visitation: Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers on Saturday, two hours prior to the service.

Youngstown- Kelly A. Sandrock, 39, passed away Wednesday at her home after a courageous eight month battle with cancer. Kelly was born on May 8,1969 in Youngstown, a daughter of William Valley and Judy Hilland Gillen. She worked for the Ohio Turnpike Commission for 13 years. Kelly leaves her husband, Carl, whom she married May 8, 1999; her father, William (Kathy) Valley; two stepdaughters, Tiffany Sandrock of Youngstown, and Savanna Sandrock of Arizona; three brothers, Bill (Tammy) Valley of Chandler, Ariz., Ed (Natalie) Valley of Poland, and Kevin Valley of Tampa, Fla.; a half sister, Stacy (Joe) Tauro of Boardman; three stepbrothers, Roland (Karen) Gillen II of Hubbard, Kevin Gillen of Youngstown, and Bryan Gillen of Struthers; three stepsisters, Carol Gillen of Boston, Bobbi Jo (John) Petrosky of Baytown, Texas, and Sharon (Paul) Heheir of Summerfield, Fla.; one grandson, Anthony Evans; many nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly; and her dog, Cody. She was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents, Edward and Mary Hilland and William Valley; and stepfather, Ron Gillen.
