Services: Services will be on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.

BOARDMAN - Katherine J. Delanar, 92 of Greenbriar Healthcare Center, formerly of Struthers, passed away on Sunday evening at the center. Katherine was born on September 21, 1918 in Bethlehem, PA, a daughter of Alex and Josephine Presuda Matyevich. She was a hairdresser for McKelvey and Regis for over 60 years. Katherine was a member of St. Nicholas Church in Struthers, the CFU Croation Lodge and the American School of Cosmotology. Katherine married Joseph J. Delanar on February 16, 1946 and he passed away on October 31, 2006. She leaves behind one sister, Mary Skocic of Augusta, GA; her neices and nephews, Frances Starinchak of Granville,OH, Chester Kocinski of Hyder, Alaska, Patricia Carr of Kona, Hawaii, Atty. Alan Matavich of Poland, Rona Rupp of Boardman, Dr. Mark Matavich of Powell, Sally Branson of Knoxville, Tenn, Mary Ellen Smith of Augusta, GA and Jerry Kopp of Bessemer, PA. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, Alex Matyevich, Jr; and two sisters, Anna M. Kocinski and Alice Korpi.
