JUNE ARLENE HEBERLING RIDER BOARDMAN-June Rider passed away in the early morning hours on Friday, Feb. 10, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus, after a brief illness. She went to the Lord peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 14, 1923 to David and Mabel Guterba Heberling in New Middletown, (Ginger Hill) In the 1960's, June decided to pursue a career in hairdressing. This led to opening her own salon in Canfield, (Village House of Hair Fashion), which became a lifetime commitment devoted to the art of which she gave so much more than beauty to so many. She worked until just a few years ago in the shop that meant the world to her. June leaves behind her daughters, Catherine Rider and Mariellen (Rider) Rich and her (adopted son) (Timothy Shevel), who lovingly enabled her to enjoy the twilight of her life. She will always live on with fond memories in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, especially her four grandchildren, Melanie (Rich) Boling, Lauren, Michael and L.J. Rich and a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Heberling.
