Services: Services will be on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Church, both in Struthers.

Visitation: Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in Struthers.

Struthers - Juliana Mary Stavina Hanisko, 90, passed away Sunday evening at Maplecrest Nursing Home. Julianna was born on May 20, 1919 in Pohorela, Slovakia, the daughter of John and Julianna Hirt Stavina. She grew up and was educated in New York City. She married Joseph V. Hanisko of Youngstown on June 7, 1941 at St. John Nepomocine Church in New York City and moved to Youngstown in 1941 and to Struthers in 1949. She was a member of St. Nicholas Church since 1949 and it's Altar and Rosary Society, the Infant Jesus of Prague and the Holy Name Societies. She was an active member of the former Booster Club of St. Nicholas Church. She also belonged to the Jednota Lodge of St. Joseph Branch 731. Julianna worked in retail for 17 years. Upon leaving her retail career, she did on sight assignments for Certified Reports of New York and Los Angeles and Kinderhook Research of New York. Julianna is survived by two sons Joseph David Hanisko of Lawton, Okla. and James Michael (Bonnie) Hanisko of Killeen, Texas; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Koytila of DesMoines, Iowa; and a brother, Joseph Koytila of New York City. Other family members include two nephews, John Stavina of Bayonne, N.J. and Jack Koscelansky of Youngstown; two nieces, Mary Jean (Steve) Sotlar and Kathleen (John) Zackasee, both of Youngstown; and 99 cousins throughout the United States and Canada. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
